On Oct 30, Ma Biao, chairman of Guangxi Government, visited the sites of key projects for Guangxi¡¯s 50th Anniversary, inspecting the progress of the projects and interviewing construction workers there.
The key projects for Guangxi¡¯s 50 Anniversary are of two kinds: projects corresponding to popular aspirations and major public projects, with a total investment of 6.040 billion yuan, of which 4.430 billion yuan is for 18 projects corresponding to popular aspirations and 1.610 billion yuan for 4 major public projects.
Ma Biao, that morning, visited construction sites such as Guangxi Museum of Science and Technology (New), Nanning Folk Song Square (Venue to Celebrate the 50th Anniversary), Guangxi Hospital for Women ad Children, Guangxi National Museum, Guangxi Sports Center, learning in detail about project design, construction progress, quality control, analyzing problems and discussing countermeasures.
