It was learned from Nanning Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters that the Yongjiang River was rising rapidly. At 9:00 pm last night, Nanning triggered off the 3rd level flood control emergency response and the Headquarters sent emergency notices to county and district headquarters.
Hydrologic analysis showed that at 21:00 of November 3 the water level reached 72.64 meters. According to Nanning¡¯s flood control emergency plan and approved by the City Headquarters, the City triggered off the 3rd level flood control emergency response at 21:00 on November 3. Upon the response, departments and institutions at various levels in the City were mobilized and kept alert. Top priority would be given to the safety of people and rescue teams would be on duty 24 hours so as to be ready to fight the flood and ensure the safety of citizens and the city.
